Cabell Maddux
Hi, I'm Cabell — a senior software developer focused on Node.js, Python, and cloud infrastructure.
At QxMD (acquired by WebMD/Medscape), I help build platforms used by millions of front-line healthcare workers. I lead backend work on QxMD Analytics, Learn by QxMD, and QxMD Accounts, and improve operations across projects on AWS with Kubernetes.
I've spoken at Node.js + JS Interactive, MedX, and Node.js Summit about cloud mobility, medical knowledge translation, and high-throughput parallelization.
Outside of work I started Scholarships Expanding Education (SEE), a 501(c)3 that made it easier to launch scholarship funds — featured by Forbes, Fast Company, and NationSwell.
I also built littlebox, a library of pure-CSS icons, and other side projects like Number of the Day.
